Heritage of Hope

Restoring survivors and empowering communities to take action to end modern day slavery. Heritage of Hope will restore survivors by equipping teams of individuals to identify sex trafficking, providing victim assistance through partnership organizations, creating a safe place for community, conversation and growth. Empowering communities through education and giving back to survivors through employment and aftercare opportunities.

Ray of HOPE

When my mom asked how I was doing, I would quickly reply that I was fine, not wanting to confide in her what was really happening to me. I had no support from any of my friends, so I felt the need to isolate myself. I was battling grief all by myself, because I knew my parents and siblings were busy dealing with their own grief. Emotionally, my family and I were on different planets. Hannah, 15

No one should feel like they are experiencing and dealing with grief alone. Especially children.

The death of a loved one leaves a hole in your heart that will never completely go away, but with the help of caring people it will become smaller. Darren, 17

So, today, I ask that you donate to the Ray of Hope Grieving Children fund at the Phoebe Foundation. We will be purchasing resources for Phoebe Hospice to distribute to children that have lost a loved one. It will be used primarily to fund books about how to cope with grief, the loss of a parent, and the best course of action for families and children during the end of life stage of a parent or family member. Each book would be specific to the age the child is at as growing children need different forms of advice and support depending at their state in life. Also, workbooks, memory albums, and forms of recording memories with their late parents can also be funded using money that is raised.
